My name is Julie Dascoli.

I reside in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne. I have been writing children's stories and poems for around thirty years but it has been only the last four years that I have taken my writing more seriously.

I work In the Victorian kindergarten system in a support role where there are children with additional needs in the class. I am employed by a well-known disabilities provider. This role is extremely rewarding and gives me a fabulous insight into how children think and what they enjoy.

I have one published coffee table book, entitled 'At Play,'  a ten-book series about occupations for upper primary school called 'My Job Rules!' A charity recipe book, and a recently released picture story book entitled 'That Boy,' published by Empowering Resources.

My hobbies include writing, reading, collecting children's picture books and spending time with family and friends.
