The book is a combination of anecdotal stories I have collected, original poems, I have written over a several years and magnificent photographs by my daughter Laura, of MooseStar Photography.
We had a book launch back in July at the Knox Italian Community Club, approximately one hundred and fifty people attended, including most of the children in the book and their families. We sold about one hundred copies on the day and another seventy five since.
The book is a glossy, hard cover coffee table/gift book. It has been received very well by all who bought one. A couple of teachers who bought the book are using it for writing prompts in literacy lessons which is very pleasing to Laura and I as children literacy is a passion for us.
